Cap vs cap battles are a really exciting experience and are happening on a grand scale. Would have loved to have seen the movie of d2 and mc's cap fleet going at it while the fleets threw lead at each other otherhead.
I don't think it's the capital ships that are changing eve, i think its the fear that some folks get of losing them making them hesitant to engage in battle because they will suffer loss. Taking heavy losses while inflicting heavy losses doesn't seem an option to some folk.

Oh and regarding your branch comment... Nice try to catch a ride on their glory. BUT We're not loosing it. We're figuring out how the **** to deal with all the caps they have there and we have plenty of space to do it in still. :)
You guys were saying stuff like that in p-2. Then fade fell, deklien and some other place and now it's on your doorstep in branch. Ascn were saying things like that, feyth will be the real war and all that malarky but the truth is, there is very few entities that can survive up to that point, as shown by d2 having problems internally atm ( corps leaving and such )
Instead of posturing on the forums and such, how about actually driving the enemy out of your space and not letting them get too the centre of your space?

@ Fredo - I meant as in pretty much all of the northern block at one point or another have said what i said in my previous post, and as you did in your recent post. Not trying to troll anything, just an observation from past events
